Driving My Road

Thoughts, etc., etc., etc.

No one knows I still write here so I think I'll be able to be a bit more liberal with my thoughts, free thinking, ...You know, being there is no threat of actually being read. LOL

I should be in bed right now but here I am watching L.A. Confidential (good movie, excellent soundtrack) and drooling on the keyboard over Kevin Spacey. MMMMMMM, oh sorry, another actor of note in this particular film is Russell Crowe whom, judging from his portrayal of an emotionally disturbed cop with a bad temper, I think might make a good Batman.

I can't believe Ronald Reagan is dead. I believe he is probably one of the very first famous persons I recognized or knew anything about as a kid, after Ol' Bugs of course. I've always had a strange place in my heart for him. I don't know from where it came for I vaguely have any memories of him. The only one I'm even half sure of is some speech or event that I watched on television. I of course don't remember what it was all about but I do remember the sense of awe and pride as I watched him. I believe he is the only person to ever touch the patriotic side of me. He was the president when I began to learn of my country and government. He was our leader and we were to look up to him and I've never been able to find it my heart to change that childlike faith and trust in him and who he was.

Timothy, .... God has mentioned this book through two different folks to me today so I think I'm gonna try to dig in before I crash. Topics I'm to approach: Remember, repent, redo; the steps to finding that 'first love.' Passion. Dangerous drifting from God. Failure is not final.
